What is The Pulse of Hot Springs and Why is it Here?

Jesus the shroud2 copy

The above is a picture developed directly from the extensive research done on the Shroud of Turin (by Ray Downing), and is the closest one can come to the actually face of our Lord and Savior, Yeshua (Jesus) our Messiah.

The Pulse is a faith based newsletter in our tiny town of Hot Springs.  We provide an evangelical outreach as well as lots of other articles and resources for everyone.  Our content is always Godly, as we are born again believers who honor God in all ways.

In our town, there exists a great quenching of the Holy Spirit of God.  Professing Christians here think that being a Christian is going to church; it’s not!  Christianity is a way of life that needs to be lived God’s way – each and every minute of every single day.  It’s doing life His way, not ours. God does not live in a box… He lives and breathes everywhere.

Our ‘orders’ from on High is to fix believers… to bring the Power of God to this failing town and change it for the good.  The true Power of the Gospel is missing here.  Good people have been led astray into believing a lie.  With the Lord’s help, change will come and people will stand up for God.  The evidence that the Bible has not been properly taught here is the growing takeover of blatant crime, drugs and alcohol.  When believers understand this, Hot Springs will shine for God.

Effective Prayer

Jesus the shroud2 copy

When & Why do people pray?

Simply answered… we usually pray when we’re out of gas! It’s the moment that we realize we are powerless over the number of our days given to us on this earth. It comes at the end of the road, when frustration, despair and anger take over. It’s at a time of helplessness. It often is at the bedside of the death of a loved one – when we realize there’s nothing else to do but pray. It may also come with a diagnosis of what may appear to be hopeless. Mostly, it’s a time when we fully understand that we are not God and need Him.

I don’t know if you’ve ever noticed, but even atheists will plead with God in moments of trial… need… frustration… and desparation.

Most aren’t even aware of shouting out God’s Name in a time of need. When push comes to shove, God is always called to the scene – even by those who don’t believe. But, why? It’s because we are created with a vacuum that wants to breathe in God. We either identify this or we don’t. When we realize Jesus is the breath we need to inhale, life just takes effect. It’s a war out there for your soul, so pray that you make the right decision about the God you serve.

How do we pray effectively?

Effective prayer is praying with the assurance that God hears and answers. On effective prayer, Jesus said, Be it done according to your faith. The answer comes when you pray according to His will – not yours. Don’t be fooled by the enemy, Satan.

We must remember that God is not an on demand personal genie; Scripture tells us the following: But without faith it is impossible to please Him. For he that cometh to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him. (Hebrews 11:6) We are also commanded to walk this walk on His terms, not our own. We must obey God rather than men. (Acts 5:29) While we are no longer under the Law, we must still abide in it. This fact is often not taught properly. What the Holy Spirit is saying here is that your Salvation doesn’t depend on the Law or the sacrifices of animals. You are under His Grace; however, since He doesn’t change, He still wants us to obey His Commandments. Don’t let anyone deceive you. God is not mocked and God doesn’t change… not ever! Jesus is the same yesterday, today and forever. So, here’s the Glory of obeying Him and receiving Jesus: Then the LORD your God will prosper you abundantly in all the work of your hand, in the offspring of your body and in the offspring of your cattle and in the produce of your ground, for the LORD will again rejoice over you for good, just as He rejoiced over your fathers; if you obey the LORD your God to keep His commandments and His statutes which are written in this book of the law, if you turn to the LORD your God with all your heart and soul. (Deuteronomy 30:9-10)

Make it a practice to live the Jesus lifestyle. Don’t be caught up in people or the Sunday Jesus fan club. If you want your prayers answered, simply walk in His ways… just as He describes in the Bible. He is still a God of extraordinay miracles… just as He was when He walked this earth. Embrace Him with all that is in you. Eternity is forever and you want to make it. Don’t get caught being a goat (Matthew 25). Always keep your Oil in your Lamp (Matthew 25). It just might be the right time to read Matthew 25… right now. It’s also the right time to recommit your life to Jesus or receive Him for the very first time. You don’t control the number of your days, no matter how much you think you can! Yielding to God is the only way to safely arrive home. May the Lord bless and keep you.

Saints of the Most High, Do You Praise God Every Day?

How important is Praise to God? What is it saying in Psalm 148, below.

Praise the Lord!

Praise the Lord from the heavens;

Praise Him in the heights!

Praise Him, all His angels;

Praise Him, all His hosts!

Praise Him, sun and moon;

Praise Him, all you stars of light!

Praise Him, you heavens of heavens,

And you waters above the heavens!

Let them praise the name of the Lord,

For He commanded and they were created.

He also established them forever and ever;

He made a decree which shall not pass away.

Praise the Lord from the earth,

You great sea creatures and all the depths;

Fire and hail, snow and clouds;

Stormy wind, fulfilling His word;

Mountains and all hills;

Fruitful trees and all cedars;

Beasts and all cattle;

Creeping things and flying fowl;

Kings of the earth and all peoples;

Princes and all judges of the earth;

Both young men and maidens;

Old men and children.

Let them praise the name of the Lord,

For His name alone is exalted;

His glory is above the earth and heaven.

And He has exalted the horn of His people,

The praise of all His saints–

Of the children of Israel,

A people near to Him.

Praise the Lord!

Have you considered the importance of praising God in your life? Do you praise God with every breath that you have? Is it pleasing to Him? Does it magnify the God of all creation who gave you life and the free gift of Salvation, through His Son, Jesus?

  • God is praised by seraphim who surround His Throne. Read below.

In the year that King Uzziah died, I saw the Lord sitting on a throne, high and lifted up, and the train of His robe filled the temple. Above it stood seraphim; each one had six wings: with two he covered his face, with two he covered his feet, and with two he flew. And one cried to another and said: “Holy, holy, holy is the Lord of hosts; The whole earth is full of His glory!” And the posts of the door were shaken by the voice of him who cried out, and the house was filled with smoke. (Isaiah 6:1-4)

  • The angels sang and praised God when He created the world.

Where were you when I laid the foundations of the earth?

Tell Me, if you have understanding.

Who determined its measurements?

Surely you know!

Or who stretched the line upon it?

To what were its foundations fastened?

Or who laid its cornerstone,

When the morning stars sang together,

And all the sons of God shouted for joy?

(Job 38:4-7)

  • When you stumble in sin and come to God, you confess all that you have done wrong against Jesus. In doing so, you are offering up words of praise for what Jesus has done for you on the cross. In turn, we are offering up a sacrifice from our lips.

O Israel, return to the Lord your God,

For you have stumbled because of your iniquity;

Take words with you,

And return to the Lord.

Say to Him,

Take away all iniquity;

Receive us graciously,

For we will offer the sacrifices of our lips. (Hosea 14:1-2)

  • The heavenly hosts praised God to the shepherds in the fields at the birth of Jesus in Bethlehem.

Now there were in the same country shepherds living out in the fields, keeping watch over their flock by night. And behold, an angel of the Lord stood before them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them, and they were greatly afraid. Then the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid, for behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy which will be to all people. For there is born to you this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord. And this will be the sign to you: You will find a Babe wrapped in swaddling cloths, lying in a manger.” And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God and saying:

“Glory to God in the highest, And on earth peace, goodwill toward men!” (Luke 2:8-14)

  • Jesus tells us, in Scripture, what happens when a single person accepts the gift of Salvation from God. The angels of God rejoice over each one who repents of their sin.

So He spoke this parable to them, saying: “What man of you, having a hundred sheep, if he loses one of them, does not leave the ninety-nine in the wilderness, and go after the one which is lost until he finds it? And when he has found it, he lays it on his shoulders, rejoicing. And when he comes home, he calls together his friends and neighbors, saying to them, ‘Rejoice with me, for I have found my sheep which was lost!’ I say to you that likewise there will be more joy in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine just persons who need no repentance.

“Or what woman, having ten silver coins, if she loses one coin, does not light a lamp, sweep the house, and search carefully until she finds it? And when she has found it, she calls her friends and neighbors together, saying, ‘Rejoice with me, for I have found the piece which I lost!’ Likewise, I say to you, there is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner who repents.” (Luke 15:3-10)

  • What do the 24 elders and the four living creatures do before God’s Thrown?

After these things I looked, and there was a door standing open in heaven! And the first voice I had heard speaking to me like a trumpet said: “Come up here so that I can show you what must happen after these things.” Immediately I was in the Spirit, and a throne was standing in heaven with someone seated on it! And the one seated on it was like jasper and carnelian in appearance, and a rainbow looking like it was made of emerald encircled the throne. In a circle around the throne were twenty-four other thrones, and seated on those thrones were twenty-four elders. They were dressed in white clothing and had golden crowns on their heads. From the throne came out flashes of lightning and roaring and crashes of thunder. Seven flaming torches, which are the seven spirits of God, were burning in front of the throne and in front of the throne was something like a sea of glass, like crystal.

In the middle of the throne and around the throne were four living creatures full of eyes in front and in back. The first living creature was like a lion, the second creature like an ox, the third creature had a face like a man’s, and the fourth creature looked like an eagle flying. Each one of the four living creatures had six wings and was full of eyes all around and inside. They never rest day or night, saying:

Holy Holy Holy is the Lord God, the All-Powerful,

Who was and who is, and who is still to come!” And whenever the living creatures give glory, honor, and thanks to the one who sits on the throne, who lives forever and ever, the twenty-four elders throw themselves to the ground before the one who sits on the throne and worship the one who lives forever and ever, and they offer their crowns before his throne, saying:

You are worthy, our Lord and God,

to receive glory and honor and power,

since you created all things,

and because of your will they existed and were created!” (Revelation 4)

I honestly have to ask… Saints of the most High, do you praise God everyday?

Montana Bill Will Require Every Church Donor To Be Listed In Political Database

Montana Bill Will Require

Every Church Donor

To Be Listed In Political Database

by Krayton Kerns, http://govtslaves.info

A couple years back, I remember Pastor Hallock asking the Grace Bible congregation the thought provoking question, “If Christianity were outlawed, could you be convicted?” Because Christian beliefs cannot be revealed through a blood test, tattoos or body marks and even the evidence of baptism dries in minutes, it is nearly impossible to positively identify a Christian; a dilemma shared by Islamic fundamentalists and American collectivists. The Montana legislature recently aided the forces battling Christian liberty.

A couple weeks ago, Islamic terrorists faced this identification quandary while slaughtering 147 Christian college students in Kenya. The hooded invaders resorted to asking hostages if they were Christian before shooting the ones answering “yes.” Rest assured, this question-and-execute slaughter could never happen in Montana, not because we are a congregation of well-armed believers, but because the 64th legislative session enacted a law identifying Christians. Asking is no longer required in the Treasure State thanks to the Montana Disclose Act, (SB 289).

Christians are a shared enemy of Islamic fundamentalists and progressives with the former eliminating their adversary via violence and latter using the vicious personal attack techniques outlined in Saul Alinsky’s “Rules for Radicals.” There is a quiet Christian majority who disagrees with progressives, but chose to protect themselves via anonymity; portraying a public persona of “no opinion” while letting other patriots act as bullet sponges to the shots fired from the left. These Christians are the group the left finds most difficult to identify and neutralize, but Montana’s Disclose Act erases the bulletproof anonymity; suddenly making the invisible visible.

Nicknaming SB289 the “Dark Money Bill,” rather than the more accurate “Conservative Christian Identification Act”, made it an easy sell to casual consumers of the news. If dark is bad, then regulating it must be good, but nothing could be further from the truth. Here is the issue: Scripture tells Christians tithing should be done in anonymity and with a cheerful heart, but the Montana Disclose Act removes the very first qualifier by requiring all church donors be identified if the church takes a position on political issues. If your pastor has ever expressed scriptural views concerning abortion or homosexuality they have crossed the new advocacy threshold and the church suddenly becomes an incidental political committee fully regulated by Montana’s Commissioner of Political Practices. To comply with SB289, every church donor will be listed on a political database. Suddenly, all Alinsky operatives and Islamic fundamentalists can access the name and address of every Christian with a simple click of their mouse.

The Pulse speaks to all of you, who are born again Christians – saved by the Blood of Jesus, FEAR NOT! Our Redemption draws nearer than ever. Keep Looking Up to the Heavens! He’s coming to bring us home soon!

FEELING LOST? HERE ARE THE DIRECTIONS ON HOW TO FIND YOUR WAY HOME.

FEELING LOST?
HERE ARE THE DIRECTIONS
ON HOW TO FIND YOUR WAY HOME

You were born into a fallen world that has separated itself from our Living God. Make no mistake about it, there’s only One True God. The other ‘gods’ are fake. The Bible calls our fallen condition, ‘sin’. It’s not a bad word. Sin is simply our fallen state. We all need a Savior… a Redeemer. Jesus is, from the very beginning, the Son of God, who came as a little baby, grew up to preach the Gospel when He was 30 to 33 years of age, and then at 33, He was tortured to death, by crucifixion, for claiming exactly who He was. HOWEVER, HE AROSE FROM THE DEAD – 3 days later, thus making a way for us to get home…despite our sins and human frailty. He took all the weight of all of our sins with Him on that cross. He gave His life willingly so that we would go home to heaven and live in eternity. He made a way for us to return to our Heavenly Father, Abba, once we leave this life. Jesus has prepared a place for you and me. It’s a place of exquisite beauty, peace, health and unconditional love; it’s eternal and perfect. We will always be in health, always be filled with joy. Death will be no more. You will be the eternal person you were designed to be… in the image of God. Do you know that you were created by God to be His child forever and ever without end?

When you feel that chilling emptiness, deep, deep inside your innermost being, that’s God calling you. He wants you back. No one and nothing else can fill that void you feel. It was meant to be filled only by Yahweh God. You may be looking to other things or people to fill that void because no one has told you it’s your heavenly Father calling to you. Maybe you’ve dabbled in astrology, yoga, witchcraft, different religions, and other gods. You may keep switching to different lifestyles, religions, groups, drugs, alcohol, meditation, the occult, etc, to find that which will fill that void but nothing ever does. You always think, if this doesn’t work, I’ll just try something else. Let me tell you, there is nothing else. It’s only Jesus that can fill that emptiness …that craving for peace within. He’s as close as a simple prayer. Although it’s important to fellowship, you don’t need to run to a church building to find Him; most of the ‘buildings’ are empty of His Spirit anyway, these days. He’s right by your side right now… knocking at the door to your heart. All you have to do is ask Jesus to forgive you for your sins and He immediately will. Ask Him to take over your life and to to live His life within you. Tell Him you want to receive His Salvation and begin to live your life His way. Ask Him to fill you with His Holy Spirit from this moment forward. Tell Him you will learn of Him through the Bible and the Bible alone – all 66 Books (man created the division of the Old and New – God never did). Commit all that you have into His Mighty Hands – even your hurts. You are now 100% “born again”, according to the Scripture. Happy Re-Birth! The Bible strongly announces that “Today is the day of Salvation”. Only God, and Him alone, holds our next breath. Please don’t wait. Life is fragile and no one knows if they have tomorrow. Reach for Him now and secure your eternity. If you want someone to pray this prayer with you, just call us at 741.2141 and we will be honored to lead you to Jesus. His nail scarred hands are ready to hold you; and, when the number of your days are done, He will gently take you HOME – for all eternity.

 Jesus the shroud copy“The word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart” (that is, the word of faith that we proclaim); because, if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes and is justified, and with the mouth one confesses and is saved. For the Scripture says, “Everyone who believes in him will not be put to shame.” For there is no distinction between Jew and Gentile; for the same Lord is Lord of all, bestowing His riches on all who call on Him. For “everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.”  (Romans 10:8-13)
